The Sainté Urban Trail (STU) is an institution based in Saint-Etienne that transforms the city into a playground for more than 3,000 participants. Partner of the event, the Axome agency's mission was to overhaul the digital ecosystem of the 2025 edition.

Rethinking the visual identity and the user journey

Visibility and technical performance objectives

The challenge of this redesign was to break with the existing one. The old WordPress site had a dated design and complex management for the organizer. Our mission was twofold: to promote the heritage of Saint-Étienne and to optimize access to information. We have completely redesigned the user journey via a fluid tree structure, while migrating to an agile and autonomous solution.



A redesigned visual identity for total immersion

For this edition, the emphasis was placed on “mobile-first” navigation, essential for participants consulting routes and schedules on smartphones. More than a web redesign, we have modernized the overall image of Sainté Urban Trail by reworking the logo and the graphic charter. The new, more dynamic logo plays on the “S” of Saint-Étienne by integrating a straight line evoking the Grande Rue and its tram rails, the true backbone of the city.

This new identity is strongly available on the site thanks to a visual immersion combining photos and videos, but also via interactive features. The user experience has been optimized thanks to a clear tree grouping the tests by type. From visuals to bibs, each contact point has been designed to maximize engagement and streamline the registration process.

To meet this challenge, our developers have combined the power of Webflow To architecture Relume, creating a system of dynamic templates guaranteeing perfect visual consistency across all events.

Beyond the technical aspect, we offered 360° support, from the social media charter to the design of the bibs, ensured total brand consistency. A paid strategy: optimizing the user journey has propelled registrations, registering a 34% increase compared to the previous edition
