Studio Francosse: Powering a social-first brand with Shopify
Studio Francosse is a creative embroidery brand known for its unique, artisanal, and deeply feminine aesthetic. Initially driven by B2B and wholesale growth, the brand previously operated on a WooCommerce e-commerce site. This foundation had become a bottleneck for technical performance, scalability, and marketing management, hindering the growth of their direct-to-consumer sales.

A vibrant and colorful UX/UI journey, tailored for the Studio Francosse community
For this redesign, the art direction focused on a bright, warm, and colorful aesthetic, designed to faithfully capture the intimate atmosphere cherished by the brand's community. Developed with a rigorous mobile-firstapproach, the site highlights the founder's role as an ambassador and integrates advanced community-driven features, mirroring the brand's presence on social media (UGC videos, behind-the-scenes footage on the homepage, social media sections, etc.).
The user experience is structured around a seamless journey that incorporates Shop the Look modules to encourage visual immersion. Cross-selling and product recommendation zones are natively integrated into product pages and the cart, effectively boosting the average order value.

Behind the scenes of a secure migration to Shopify
The technical challenge of this migration was to ensure a smooth and secure data transfer from WooCommerce using the Matrixify tool, allowing for the import of customer history, orders, and product pages without any business interruption.
To support logistics and marketing operations, key connectors were deployed: Shopify Payments for the secure payment infrastructure, and the deployment of Shopify Markets to natively manage the store's language (French/English) and currency variations.

A new horizon for e-commerce growth with Shopify
For an artisanal and agile business like Studio Francosse, Shopify is the ultimate operational partner. By completely freeing themselves from the heavy technical maintenance constraints inherent in the old system, the founder and her team can focus on what matters most: creating collections and engaging with their community.
This transition to a stable and intuitive e-commerce ecosystem instantly unlocked the brand's D2C potential, streamlining the customer journey to the point of generating results from the very first months following the migration.

Conclusion
The e-commerce redesign for Studio Francosse proves that it is entirely possible to balance a strong, community-driven brand identity with high-performance commercial requirements. By switching to Shopify, the brand has gained an agile platform ready to support its next phases of growth.
As a testament to our commitment to this wonderful creative and human journey, our agency recently had the pleasure of sponsoring the latest Studio Francosse collection runway show, held under the Marseille sun.
