Starting off on a healthy footing with Shopify Plus

The objective of this migration to Shopify Plus Was threefold:

  1. Making the technical base reliable to eliminate the risks of regression.
  2. Optimizing performance (speed, conversion) to support growth ambitions in France and internationally.
  3. Aligning the digital experience with the image Premium brand, By offering an immersive, fluid and inspiring journey.


A UX/UI experience designed to guide the user towards a beauty routine

The design has been completely redesigned to embody the expertise and sensoriality of Payot products, while serving conversion.

As soon as you arrive on the site, immersion is there. Formats inspired by stories, fed by UGC content, humanize the relationship and boost the buying journey, especially on mobile.

The whole thing is based on a mobile-first approach, with a refined, readable interface designed to minimize friction until check-out.

A technical architecture adapted to the specificities of the business

Beyond native integration, this project required advanced technical expertise to meet the requirements of the beauty sector:

  • Customized sampling module: Specific development of a feature allowing the addition of samples and free products to the basket. This lever is crucial in cosmetics to promote product discovery and increase the average basket.
  • Loyoly (Loyoly) strategy: Advanced integration of the loyalty program to reward customer engagement and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Store Locator: Implementation of an efficient location tool to generate traffic to partner institutes and points of sale.
  • Data migration: Secure transfer of customer and order history to ensure continuity of service during the changeover.

Why did Shopify Plus come naturally?

The choice of Shopify Plus was the obvious answer to Payot's challenges.

The platform offers stability and performance capable of absorbing large spikes in traffic, while ensuring a smooth experience for users.
On the team side, autonomy is strengthened: creation of landing pages, commercial animation, marketing tests... everything can now be managed without technical dependence.

Finally, the architecture is ready for international use, with native multi-language and multi-currency functionalities, facilitating the opening of new markets.

Conclusion

This migration from Prestashop to Shopify Plus allowed Payot to transform a technical constraint into a competitive advantage. The brand now has a powerful, stable and scalable tool, perfectly aligned with its premium image and its ambitions for international growth.
